Map one real workflow, its users, costs, tools, approvals and failure points. Decide whether a change is needed at all.
Prove
Compare a bounded pilot with the current baseline. Agree quality, cycle time, full cost, consistency and required human intervention.
Design
Define responsibilities, review points, permissions, failure handling and the interface people need to stay in control.
Build
Use existing software where it fits. Integrate or build only the missing parts. Review a working version before extending the scope.
Operate and hand over
Agree documentation, access, training, maintenance and escalation. Expand only after the result meets the agreed acceptance criteria.
